Bathroom Attendant
Galway Hooker is a busy, high-energy pub in the heart of Greenwich Village. We take pride in delivering a great guest experience from the moment someone walks in the door to the moment they leave — and that includes the little details that make a big difference.
The Role
We're looking for a friendly, reliable Bathroom Attendant to keep our restrooms clean, stocked, and welcoming throughout service. You'll be a visible part of the guest experience, so a warm, professional attitude matters just as much as attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms throughout shifts, including regular wipe-downs, floor checks, and trash removal
- Keep restrooms fully stocked (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, amenities)
- Monitor for maintenance issues (clogs, leaks, broken fixtures) and report immediately to management
- Greet guests politely and offer amenities where applicable (mints, spray, etc.)
- Handle tip jar/gratuities professionally, if applicable
- Follow all health and safety protocols
- Communicate with bar/floor staff on any recurring issues or peak-time needs
What We're Looking For
- A positive, guest-first attitude
- Reliable and punctual — able to work nights and weekends
- Comfortable on your feet for the duration of a shift
- Prior hospitality or facilities experience a plus, but not required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
