Title: Ambulatory Device Technician

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 28 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Device Technician with a strong background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology, cardiology, or MRI operations. The ideal candidate will support cardiac device monitoring, programming, patient education, and clinical documentation in an ambulatory healthcare setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform pacemaker and ICD interrogation and programming

• Support cardiac device monitoring and electrophysiology services

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charge entry

• Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding cardiac devices and monitoring

• Collaborate with physicians, cardiology, and electrophysiology teams

• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of device-related procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience

• Minimum 2 years of pacemaker and ICD interrogation/programming experience

• Computer literacy required

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology, cardiology, or MRI operations

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology settings

• Completion of an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Technology program or equivalent education and experience

• Experience with EMR documentation and charge entry

• Experience educating patients, families, and healthcare staff
