Job Title: Medical Assistant Specialty: OB/GYN / Family Planning (Preferred) Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (08:30 AM – 05:00 PM) Duration: 26 Weeks Desired Location: New York, NY Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks, preferably with experience in OB/GYN or family planning .
Key Responsibilities:- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for visits, including vital signs and intake documentation
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as phlebotomy (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Support clinic workflow and ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide patient education and support
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Experience in OB/GYN or Family Planning settings
- Phlebotomy experience
