INTL Design System Designer III

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Design System Designer L3 to support a design systems portfolio within a B2C environment. This consultant needs to be local to Chennai or Hyderabad to work in a hybrid working model 3 days a week. Candidates should have a background in consumer facing design organizations, understanding the intricacies of working with cross functional partners both locally and in the US. This Consultant will be supporting end to end delivery of components and guidelines shaping the digital user experiences. This role will require partnership with designers, developers and content strategists to provide input and feedback on the execution of their usage of the system, as well as coaching on the components. Understanding UX standards and having a systems background will be important for the foundation of this work. Candidates can expect to support the evolution of the design system from a patterns, components, and visual standpoint. Being able to story tell their design process, design solutions and design approach with stakeholders will be necessary for this role.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of experience with UX Design (practiced design principles and design process) 2+ years of experience specific to Design Systems

Hands on experience with the design and architecture of reusable components and specs

Strong experience with comprehensive design documentation and guidelines

Background at an enterprise company preferably telecom

Knowledge of UI standards for iOS, Android and Web platforms

Hands-on with Figma

Systems level design thinking and solutioning approach

Ability to work cross functional with stakeholders both locally and in the US

Comfortable working independently and able to own tracks of work

Great soft skills: storyteller/presenter, attitude to learn, grow, & curiosity Knowledge of the component development process
