- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
- Start Date: September 15, 2025
- End Date: January 10, 2026
- Contract Duration: 17 weeks
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), including weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: Pediatric Operating Room
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1460-$1500
- Certified Surgical Technologist or meets NYS Public Health Law 2824 requirements
- Active New York Surgical Tech License (NY License ONLY)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience; Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Pediatric operating room experience preferred
- Ability to scrub and circulate in surgical procedures
- Assist in pediatric surgical procedures including general surgery, urology, dental, OMFS, neurosurgery, plastics, burns, ENT, and orthopaedics
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional pediatric patient care
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety during all operating room procedures
- Participate in on-call and callback duties as required by the pediatric OR unit
- Adapt to rotating shift schedules, including weekends and holidays
