We are seeking a team player to join our team as and Shipping & Receiving Clerk !

Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, the Shipping & Receiving Clerk will have the following key responsibilities:

• Lift, unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains record of received goods. Receives internal PO’s requested via email.
• Transfer material into storage locations.
• Pick and deliver Accessory work orders and raw material stock requisitions to various departments.
• Operates hand and powered material handling equipment.
• Load, unload, delivers materials, chemicals and other products including 55-gallon drums. Stacks, stores chemicals in chemical shed and maintains rotation of drums to ensure first in first out stock.
• Pick/pack prepare hazardous & nonhazardous, domestic & international customer orders for final shipment to the customer.
• Cycle counting and physical inventory.
• Prepare Hazmat documentation.
• Coordinates with freight-forwarders/carrier activities

Base Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per year depending on experience.

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual’s unique set of knowledge, skills, education, experience and geographic location, as well as internal equity.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST have forklift experience

High school or GED

2-4 years of related Shipping and Receiving experience

Experience with shipping domestic and international using third party systems (ex: FedEx, UPS)

Computer skills using PC and radio frequency devices; understanding warehouse operations

Candidate needs to be able to stand, lift (up to 50 pounds), bend/squat, push/pull

Pallet jack experience
