Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Key Strategic Manager based out of our New York office.

This is a senior, high-visibility individual contributor role within our most strategic client segment – globally significant financial institutions with multi-line, enterprise-wide engagements. Reporting to the Senior Director, Segment Head, you will own end-to-end commercial responsibility for a book of enterprise accounts, building deep executive relationships and driving multi-product growth across the full Fitch Solutions portfolio.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Strategic Account Ownership

  • Own a portfolio of enterprise, multi-line strategic accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner and commercial point of contact.
  • Develop and execute enterprise-level account plans, identifying white space and coordinating execution across products and regions.
  • Lead the full renewal and negotiation process for your book, ensuring favorable terms that protect revenue and strengthen long-term client relationships.

Executive Relationship & Commercial Leadership

  • Build and maintain senior and C-suite relationships across assigned accounts (e.g., CIO, CRO, Heads of Research, Trading, Risk, and Portfolio Management).
  • Lead complex, multi-year commercial agreements spanning multiple products, business units, and stakeholder groups.
  • Plan and deliver executive business reviews (EBRs) and other senior engagement touchpoints that reinforce Fitch Solutions as a mission-critical partner.
  • Direct end-to-end relationship management across the firm, coordinating with Customer Success Managers, Client Services, and Specialists to drive full-portfolio engagement.

Retention, Expansion & Growth

  • Own Net Revenue Retention and expansion targets across your book of strategic accounts.
  • Research and prospect for growth opportunities across Credit Research and Ratings Data Services, Credit Risk Solutions, Industry and Country Macro Research and Data, and Sustainability solutions.
  • Partner with Sales Specialists, Product, and Customer Success to deliver coordinated, cross-functional account strategies.

Operating Discipline & Collaboration with Leadership

  • Maintain accurate, high-confidence forecasting across renewals and expansion pipeline within your book.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM utilization and account planning discipline in line with segment standards set by the Segment Head.
  • Bring client and market insight back to the Segment Head and broader organization to help inform product, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • 10+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience within financial services, data, or analytics, with a track record managing large or strategic institutional relationships.
  • General knowledge of financial services and capital markets, with a focus on fixed income preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of developing business and growing revenue streams with large institutional or enterprise clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships at the senior executive level, as well as across procurement and user levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with experience structuring complex, multi-product agreements.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity, and perseverance.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written (PowerPoint a plus).
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential.

Travel: 20%. We currently operate within a hybrid work environment, with 3 days required in office.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Existing network across top-tier U.S. and global financial institutions at senior levels.
  • Experience structuring or supporting global, multi-product enterprise agreements.
  • A track record of expanding enterprise relationships across business lines and geographies.
  • Ability to understand client strategy and performance and translate it into an account plan that optimizes product adoption and growth.
  • A curious mind and genuine passion for financial markets.

Key Measures of Success :

  • Net Revenue Retention (NRR) across your book of strategic accounts.
  • Expansion growth and wallet share capture within assigned accounts.
  • Breadth of product adoption and multi-business-line engagement.
  • Forecast accuracy and pipeline predictability.
  • Depth of executive relationships and perception as a trusted strategic partner.

Why Choose Fitch:
