Role Purpose

Responsible for operating high lift trucks to transport and load catering supplies, cargo, and other materials

to and from aircraft. This position requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to airport and company protocols

What You Will Be Doing

• Actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
• Safely operate high lift trucks to load and unload catering supplies, cargo, and other materials to and from aircraft.
• Ensure proper placement and securement of loads to prevent damage during transport.
• Adhere to all airport safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Communicate effectively with ground operations staff, catering personnel, and flight crews to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Coordinate with other team members to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, destinations, and any discrepancies.
• Complete required documentation for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Provide courteous and professional service to all airport personnel and flight crews.
• Address any concerns or issues promptly and escalate to the supervisor when necessary.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must meet G2 Driving Policy)
• One-year relevant experience operating commercial motor vehicles
• Ability to operate high lift trucks and other ground support equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy object.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Experience operating a vehicle in a secured/restricted zone.
• Previous experience in operating high lift trucks or similar.
• Experience in an airport or aviation-related environment.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing & background check
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport and Custom badges/seals.
