Automotive Service Technician

Ford Certified Service TechnicianLocation: Brooklyn, NYJob Type: Full-TimeDepartment: Service Job Summary:Premier Ford is hiring a qualified Service Technician to perform diagnostics and repairs on customer vehicles. Only applicants with technician experience, Ford dealership preferred, will be considered. This role focuses on completing assigned repair orders efficiently and communicating service needs clearly with the service team. Benefits: * Medical, dental, and health coverage * 401(k) plan * Paid time off and vacation * Opportunities for advancement * Employee vehicle purchase program * Stable, family-owned business * Flexible scheduling Primary Duties: * Complete repair orders according to manufacturer and dealership guidelines * Use diagnostic tools and test drives to identify and confirm issues * Service and repair key systems including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and A/C * Inform service advisors of additional issues found and estimate repair time * Perform warranty work in line with manufacturer requirements Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years of automotive service experience preferred * High school diploma or equivalent required * ASE certification is a plus * Ford certification preferred but not required * Prior work at a Ford dealership is a bonus * Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems * Experience using diagnostic equipment * Strong communication and customer service skills * Capable of working with precision and consistency * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record About Us:Premier Ford has been a part of the Brooklyn community since 1967 and remains a family-owned dealership with a strong commitment to its team.
