Custodial Services Worker Lead
Job Description
This position is eligible for a $500 sign on bonus, payable 60 days after employment.
Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Custodial Services Worker Lead in Williamson, NY to oversee daily cleaning operations while working alongside the team. This is a hands-on janitorial leadership role where you will follow a cleaning route, complete inspections, and ensure facilities are clean, safe, and ready for use. You will help train team members, set daily priorities, and make sure the team has the tools and support needed to get the job done. The work includes typical custodial duties such as floor care, restroom cleaning, and trash removal in an indoor facility environment. This role requires strong attendance, reliability, and the ability to lead by example. The schedule is primarily Monday?Friday, 5:30 AM ? 2:00 PM, with a rotating weekend day.
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $21.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, and trash removal
- Follow an assigned cleaning route and ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Lead day-to-day operations by assigning tasks and setting priorities for custodial team members
- Conduct routine inspections to verify quality and address any missed work
- Train and coach employees on proper cleaning methods, safety practices, and expectations
- Ensure team members have supplies, equipment, and clear direction for each shift
- Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Report maintenance issues and submit work orders as needed
- Assist with opening/closing duties and ensure facility security procedures are followed
- Work in a fast-paced indoor environment requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ year of custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and ability to work early morning shifts
- Ability to follow a set schedule: 5:30 AM ? 2:00 PM, Monday?Friday + rotating weekend day
- Comfortable performing physical work including walking, standing, lifting, bending, and pushing equipment
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience leading, training, or coaching employees
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance environments
- Experience with floor care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, etc.)
