BCBA School Consultant

We're Looking for a BCBA School Consultant!

Location: Glen Head, NY Position Type: Part-Time. 15 hours a week.

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a School Consultant. Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:

• Assess & Plan: Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Implement & Monitor: Deliver and oversee evidence-based ABA interventions, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure student progress.
• Collaborate & Train: Work closely with school staff to provide training on ABA principles, fostering a collaborative environment for student success.
• Document & Report: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
• Lead & Support: Supervise and support Behavioral Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a BCBA, preferably in a school-based setting.
• Certification: Active BCBA certification is required; LBA certification is required or in process.
• Skills: Proficiency in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs. Strong communication skills for effective training and collaboration. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
