Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures in the Cath Lab and IR under physician guidance
- Operate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment and assist with procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and infection control throughout procedures
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after interventions; respond to emergent patient needs
- Document procedures and patient data in EPIC; ensure accurate charting and coding support
- Collaborate with radiology, nursing, and physician teams; participate in patient care planning
- Float within the hospital as needed within applicable skill set
- Complete required orientation and RN modules to meet compliance deadlines

Requirements
- NY State nursing license (RN) required at time of submission
- ARRT or CCI certification
- Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in cath and interventional radiology (IR)
- EPIC charting experience
- Must submit recent Nursys verification
- EKG competency: Relias exam within 72 hours of signing; onsite EKG proficiency at 85% with identification of 100% critical rhythms
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program; RN license in NY
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and float within the unit as needed
- Orientation: Healthstream modules; RN modules typically 12–15 hours to complete prior to start
