Membership Operations Specialist

GSNENY is seeking a Membership Operations Specialist to ensure smooth, accurate membership processes and provide exceptional customer service throughout the membership journey. The hourly rate range for this position is $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and confirm community membership events; support field recruitment and post-event follow-up.
• Enter, track, and follow up on leads in Salesforce to guide families into Girl Scouts.
• Maintain accurate membership records and assist with routine membership reporting.
• Support onboarding for new members and volunteers, including communications and required documentation.
• Respond to membership inquiries with prompt, helpful customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and consistent member experience.

Required Experience & Skills

• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM/database.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience in administrative operations, customer service, or support roles.
• Experience supporting onboarding workflows or service processes.
• Commitment to data integrity and accuracy.
• Flexibility to support occasional evening/weekend events during peak membership seasons.
