Registered Nurse Qualifications required

»Valid New York State RN licensure.

Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:

»Provide exceptional nursing care to individuals with developmental disabilities in conformity with OPWDD regulations and guidelines.

»Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

»Monitor and assess the health status of individuals, documenting observations and communicating any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

»Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

»Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

»Educate and support individuals and their families regarding health and wellness.
