Position Overview

Full-Time Registered Nurse - Albany, NY

Sign-on Bonus of $5,000


We are a small Nursing Community looking for talented RNs to meet the needs of our youth and adolescent patients. If you are a focused caregiver with excellent communication skills, we may be the right fit for you. Great starting income and more than competitive differential for evenings, weekends, nights and holidays. No chaos, excellent work environment and pretty awesome co-workers.
Northern Rivers is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse to be located in Albany, NY. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals providing care and treatment to the children in our private facility. As an RN on staff, you should feel comfortable communicating with families, providers, and social workers in order to meet the needs of this population.

What you, as a Registered Nurse, can expect at Northern Rivers:

»You will be located in a smaller facility that offers reduced caseloads and less stress than often seen in traditional hospital settings

» Pay rate of $36/hour with 20% differential for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Your Responsibilities and Skills

»Provide compassionate, attentive care to children & youth

»Medical evaluation and continuing medication management

»Medication reviews with consulting physicians for consistency of care

»Excellent assessment and communication skills

» practice working with an adolescent population is desired, but not necessary

» knowledge of and/or interest in Trauma-Informed Care practices

Qualifications

»Active and valid New York State RN licensure

»CPR Certification

» capability to pass a standard physical evaluation

» capability to complete and pass full background check

»Proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 or medical exemption documentation
