Manufacturing Technician I - Instruments
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician - Instruments to join our team. In this role, you will perform electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly and test operations in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions. You will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards through assembly, soldering, testing, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical assembly and testing of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and pneumatic assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Assemble wiring and harness components following engineering drawings and work instructions.
Conduct soldering operations to meet J-STD and/or IPC 610 industry standards.
Complete required documentation (written and electronic) accurately and on time.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of documentation issues or manufacturing quality problems.
Perform in-process product testing in line with documented quality control procedures.
Assist with inventory management for manufacturing supplies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Contribute to other manufacturing and plant operations as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and judgment.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work with a strong sense of urgency.
