Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics and acrobatics classes tailored to children’s age groups and skill levels.
• Demonstrate proper techniques for tumbling, balancing, jumping, climbing, and other acrobatic movements.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to safety protocols and supervising activities closely.
• Manage behavior effectively to maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence.
• Communicate progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians regularly.
• Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the cleanliness of the training area at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in a recreational or educational setting.
• Background in gymnastics, acrobatics, cheerleading, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), swimming, climbing, or related disciplines.
• Lifeguard experience is a plus for understanding water safety if applicable.
• Strong behavior management skills to motivate children while ensuring safety and discipline.
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members.
• Ability to demonstrate physical skills confidently and instruct others effectively.

About the Role:
You’ll lead fun, structured, and engaging classes for children ages 5 and up in a supportive, creative environment.

Schedule:

• Weekly classes starting at 4:00 PM
• Weekend morning availability preferred
• Classes are booked in advance
• Additional opportunities available for summer programs

What You’ll Do:

• Teach age-appropriate gymnastics/acrobatics skills
• Create a safe, positive, and encouraging class environment
• Adapt activities for different skill levels
• Help kids build strength, coordination, and confidence

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in gymnastics, acrobatics, dance, or similar disciplines
• Experience working with children (5+)
• High energy, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
