POSITION OVERVIEW

Clinical Director, Residential Services - Albany/Schenectady, NY


Northern Rivers is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional with practice in supervising and training clinical staff. The residential clinical department leads the treatment team in working with youth and their families to ameliorate conditions and behaviors that cause youth to be unsafe in a community setting. Our practice is trauma-informed and utilizes evidence-located practices.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

»Provide supervision, training and leadership abilities for the residential clinical team including masters level clinicians and bachelor level case managers

»Function as a member of the administrative team, part of the administrative on-call, and assist in development, oversight, and implementation of regulation and practices

» supervise the clinical and permanency goals and welfare of youth in program



EDUCATION and/or practice General Requirements:

»Requires LCSW licensure

»Requires at least 4 years of significant practice

» managery practice highly desired

»Valid, clean NYS drivers license required
