Senior Accountant

A leading financial services and investment management organization is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join its team on a 3–6 month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience with General Ledger accounting, financial consolidations, and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience using OneStream.

This role is well suited for an accounting professional who is comfortable working in a complex financial environment, managing accounting and consolidation activities, and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Perform General Ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support financial consolidations, including intercompany accounting and eliminations.
• Utilize OneStream for consolidation and financial reporting processes.
• Research and resolve accounting and reporting discrepancies.
• Prepare and review financial reporting packages and management reports.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams on reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within financial services or investment management.
• Experience with General Ledger accounting and financial consolidations .
• Hands-on OneStream experience required.
• Solid understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.
• Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
