Forward Deployed Engineer
Our client, an AI-driven Healthtech company, is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with founders and senior engineers working across healthcare, AI and real-time systems, to ship impactful features used every day in real-world clinical environments.
Responsibilities
Build and operate production-ready full-stack features that power AI-driven healthcare communication.
Integrate with EHRs, legacy healthcare systems and real-time voice infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with product, design and engineering teams to turn customer needs into shipped software.
Debug and improve reliability, performance and scalability across live production systems.
Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and the continuous evolution of engineering best practices.
Extend LLM-driven systems that support real-time, AI-powered healthcare workflows.
Develop low-latency services that process live voice and patient data.
Build resilient and secure integrations across fragmented, regulated healthcare systems.
Skillset
At least 3 years of experience building and shipping production software.
Strong full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React and PostgreSQL.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Strong ownership mindset with a focus on quality and real-world impact.
Excellent communication skills.
