What You’ll Do
The Security Solutions Consultant is a senior, client-facing authority responsible for influencing cybersecurity decisions throughout the sales lifecycle. Serving as a trusted advisor, this role partners closely with Sales Executives once discovery is initiated, bringing deep cybersecurity expertise to validate requirements, shape solutions, and articulate business-aligned security strategies.
The ideal candidate brings an unwavering passion for security and recognized thought leadership, guiding buying conversations and shaping how organizations think about risk, compliance, and managed security services.
Leverage deep cybersecurity expertise to validate client requirements, design tailored solutions, and address technical objections, directly contributing to higher sales win rates.
Act as a proactive subject matter expert to support sales executives, accelerating solution validation and shortening deal cycles.
Articulate security and compliance value propositions clearly, overcoming technical barriers and influencing buying decisions through credibility, education and business-focused guidance.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine offerings, ensure accurate positioning of services, and provide strategic input on solution roadmaps.
Represent Thrive externally at industry events, webinars, and client-facing initiatives, establishing thought leadership and credibility in security.
Mentor and guide sales and technical teams on security positioning, messaging, and best practices to strengthen internal expertise and enable deal success.
Skills You Bring
5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, consulting, or pre-sales technical advisory roles supporting complex sales solutions
MSP, MSSP or consulting experience preferred
Deep understanding of cybersecurity domains: risk management, security architecture, threat intelligence, IAM, Zero Trust, cloud security, and incident response frameworks.
Familiarity with security tools and services such as (ADD, ADD, ADD), vulnerability management, and endpoint security
Proven ability to accelerate deal cycles by providing actionable guidance during discovery and validation
Expertise in translating technical security concepts into business impact and ROI
Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills, both with internal teams and external customers
Strategic thinking and the ability to shape cybersecurity roadmaps aligned to client objectives
Ability to mentor and guide sales and technical teams on security positioning and messaging
Adaptability in fast-paced, evolving technology environments.
