This position will support one of our clients in the mediasector, based in New York City, and is an onsite role embedded directly withthe client. You’ll oversee a team providing 24/7 coverage across approximately400,000 square feet spanning four floors of a high-rise environment.
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated teamin driving the seamless operation and maintenance of the facility. Your missionis to ensure everything runs efficiently, safely, and sustainably whiledelivering a best-in-class experience for our client.
This role is part of our Facilities Management function,where we go beyond the basics. You’ll be at the heart of asset operations,collaborating closely with Property Managers and landlords to deliverexceptional service and performance across the board.

What You’ll Do:
Support the criticalinfrastructure program by identifying operational gaps, documenting processes,and developing standardized playbooks to drive consistency and efficiency.
Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance performedby vendors, and contractors.
Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetingson unresolved facility issues.
Prepare and manage capital and operating projects.
Manage all aspects of budget development, implementationand monitoring.
Perform facility inspections, following local, state, andfederal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgradeopportunities.
Manage environmental health and safety procedures forfacilities.
Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures.Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor forprojects.
Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance,repairs, and safety best practices.
Provide formal supervision foremployees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performanceevaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values. Influence stakeholders to achieve consensus.
Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own disciplineintegrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day andmoderately complex issues which may or may not be apparent in existing systemsand processes.

What You’ll Need:
Proven experience managing commercial facilities, includingdaily operations, maintenance activities, regulatory compliance, and vendoroversight, ideally within a 24/7 operating environment
Demonstrated people leadership experience managing teams ina 24/7 setting, including setting performance expectations, coaching, anddriving accountability
Strong working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, andPlumbing (MEP) systems, with hands-on experience preferred
Experience supporting critical infrastructure programs,including identifying gaps, documenting processes, and developing or auditingoperational playbooks; leasing experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevantexperience; equivalent education and experience will be considered. Validdriver’s license required. Facilities Management certification preferred
Experience developing, managing, and tracking operatingbudgets
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with theability to collaborate effectively with teams, vendors, and clients
Ability to navigate sensitive or complex situations,resolve issues, and influence outcomes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong technicalaptitude
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive,problem-solving mindset
Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculatepercentages, fractions, and other financial metrics

New York Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
