We’re a small, client-focused CPA firm seeking a Client Experience Representative who will be the heartbeat of our client engagements. This role focuses on managing client engagement responsibilities, delivering commitments, and driving profitability (including collections). Responsibilities:

· Own the client experience from onboarding through project delivery, ensuring clear expectations and timelines.

· Coordinate engagement plans, deliverables, and due dates across the team (tax, bookkeeping, financial statements, advisory items).

· Monitor engagement profitability: budget-to-actuals, scope control, and timely collections.

· Manage billing and collections; follow up with clients to secure prompt payments.

· Serve as primary point of contact for clients; schedule meetings, respond to requests, and maintain strong client relationships.

· Collaborate with tax/accounting staff to ensure accuracy, quality, and deadlines.

· Maintain accurate engagement records, CRM data, and reporting dashboards.

· Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and retention.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent; no college degree required.

· 2+ years of experience in client services, admin, or accounting/bookkeeping in a professional services environment (CPA firm experience is a plus).

· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

· Basic financial literacy and comfort with invoices, payments, and collections.

· Proficiency with MS Office; experience with QuickBooks, cloud accounting tools, or CRM software a plus.

· Able to thrive in a small-team, fast-paced setting and handle confidential client information with integrity.
