Training Coordinator (Manufacturing) Location: Olean, NY Sector: High-Tech Manufacturing / Operations

The Opportunity Are you a process-driven individual with a passion for workforce development? We are seeking a Training Coordinator to lead the administration and coordination of our plant’s training and employee resource programs. In this role, you will be the engine behind our pursuit of business excellence, ensuring every member of our team has the knowledge and skills to reach their full potential.

You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance across EHS, Quality, Operations, and HR, while modernizing how we deliver and track information in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your Impact

• Compliance Management: Track and manage training records to ensure 100% alignment with internal procedures and ISO requirements (9001 & 14001).

• Digital Transformation: Develop and maintain digital/online tracking systems (LMS) to streamline training requirements and reporting.

• Hands-on Instruction: Support and deliver new hire orientations, PIV hands-on training, and crane/hoist certifications.

• Content Creation: Support the development of diverse training materials, including digital media, video, and instructional manuals.

• Audit & Optimization: Conduct regular audits of training effectiveness and maintain the group’s cross-training matrices to ensure operational readiness.

• Special Projects: Lead targeted training initiatives and software implementations to evolve our learning culture.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma (some college-level coursework preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

• Preferred Assets: Previous experience in a training role; knowledge of Power BI/Power Automate; experience with Augmented Reality or advanced LMS software.

Responsibilities

• Track training for EHS, Quality, Operations and HR to ensure compliance with internal procedures, OPA, ISO requirements (14001 & 9001), and the Eaton Values and Philosophy.
• Develop digital/online tracking of training requirements (LMS & Eaton University)
• Supports in the development of training and knowledge materials via books, videos, or any other mechanism for delivering information.
• Support new hire training, PIV hands on training, and crane/hoist hands on training, which includes maintaining all training documents, training new hires, and any re-training that may be required. Ensure our program adheres to Eaton’s MESH program.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure training materials are effective and relevant.
• Maintain group’s cross-training matrix(ces)
• Provide training to both individuals and groups as needed.
• Complete special training projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
