Administrative Clerk

Job Title: Administrative Clerk

Location: White Plains, NY

Type: Contract

Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:

• Provide clerical and scheduling support to Housing Choice Voucher Program Operations
• Process contracts, verifications, reports, and logs as assigned
• Prepare and maintain files, records, and reports (filing, scanning, indexing)
• Manage recertification, intake scheduling, and tracking procedures
• Serve as a liaison regarding scheduled/missed appointments
• Provide general program information and assist with customer inquiries
• Support front desk reception as needed and assist with additional departmental tasks

Requirements:

• 1+ year of administrative experience; housing program or similar field a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills; experience working with diverse clientele
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent 3 years of relevant experience)
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
