Job Overview

We are looking for a fast-moving, eagle-eyed Pizza Runner to join our team! In this role, you are the critical link between our hot kitchen line and our hungry guests. Your main mission is simple: ensure that the second a pizza leaves the oven, it gets to the right table or takeout box—scalding hot and perfectly prepared.

Key Responsibilities

• The Final Quality Check: Inspect every pizza, side, and pasta dish before it leaves the kitchen pass. Make sure toppings are correct, the crust is baked perfectly, and any special modifications (like "no onions" or "gluten-free") are strictly followed.
• Prompt Delivery: Deliver hot pizzas, piping-hot appetizers, and cold beverages to the correct tables swiftly and efficiently, using standard table and seat number maps.
• Guest Presentation: Enthusiastically present the food to guests when arriving at the table (e.g., "Here is your Large Pepperoni with extra garlic crust!") and ensure they have share-plates, napkins, and parmesan/red pepper shakers.
• Kitchen & Floor Liaison: Communicate efficiently between the kitchen crew (Line Cooks) and the Front-of-House staff (Servers and Cashiers) to keep ticket-to-table times as short as possible.
• Dining Room Support: Assist with clearing away empty pizza pans, wiping down tables, and resetting dining stations so the next party can be seated quickly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Speed & Energy: You move with a natural sense of urgency and can maintain a high pace during peak weekend dinner rushes.
• Stamina & Strength: Ability to stand and walk for long stretches, and safely carry heavy pizza trays, dough boxes, or bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for accuracy to catch missing items or mistakes on a ticket before the food reaches a customer.
• Team Mindset: Willingness to jump in and help servers, bussers, or kitchen staff whenever a hand is needed.
• Availability: Flexible hours, especially during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
