As a Deposit Sales Specialist, Vice President, you will partner with bankers, investors, regional leadership , and Client Service teams (Integrated Team Members – ITMs) to provide Banking sales management, thought leadership, and product support to J.P. Morgan Private Bank clients. A successful candidate will be responsible for the growth of the Private Bank deposit book in their region and provide customized client solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with ITMs to drive increased penetration of banking products and solutions for existing and new clients
- Provide support for general inquiries (e.g. overview of deposit product features, pricing, rates commentary, etc.)
- Proactively educate advisors on cash management strategies and relevant macro and rate market conditions
- Partner with leadership to design, manage, and track sales efforts
- Present tailored proposals, pricing analyses and cost/benefit analyses based on client needs
- Manage / approve rate and pricing exceptions within delegated authorities
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- 5+ years of cash management sales and relationship management experience
- Knowledge and understanding of macroeconomic dynamics and rate markets
- Team-oriented with ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to contribute ideas for platform evolution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top contributor
- Undergraduate Degree
- Series 7 and 63 preferred, or otherwise required within 12 months of date of hire
