💼 Full Stack Engineer — Our Client (NYC Preferred | Hybrid/Flexible)

Our client is redefining how organizations with massive media libraries — from post-production studios and creative agencies to enterprise marketing and sports teams — search, share, and collaborate across terabytes of digital assets.

Their advanced platform seamlessly manages video, audio, 3D, images, PSDs, and documents through an integrated AI-driven ecosystem combining streaming file access, intelligent metadata, vector search, and automated media workflows.

🧠 What You’ll Work On:

You’ll help build and scale a platform that connects high-performance AI infrastructure with intuitive user experiences — empowering teams to instantly locate, stream, and process creative content of any size.

You’ll collaborate closely across engineering, design, and AI to enhance:

• A streaming file system (FUSE) for real-time access to large media files

• A distributed AI backend supporting vector search, transcription, and facial recognition

• A modern web and desktop interface for review, sharing, and approvals

Job requirements

⚙️ Tech Stack:

Python · NextJS · TypeScript · TanStack · Bun · C++ · PostgreSQL

✅ Ideal Background:

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Proficiency with TypeScript/React/NextJS/TanStack

• Solid experience working with Python

• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL administration and migrations at scale

• Based in or open to relocating to New York City (preferred)

• Bonus points for experience with:

  • Media file processing and image manipulation (Python)

  • GPU/CPU-based transcoding pipelines (FFmpeg or similar)
