About Awake
Awake is a fast-growing cannabis retail brand focused on delivering a high-end, education-driven customer experience. We are building a company centered around structure, performance, and long-term growth , and we are looking for a strong operator to help take our store to the next level.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Store Operations Manager who is not just a manager, but a builder and problem solver .
This role is responsible for:
- Driving store performance
- Implementing systems and SOPs
- Leading and developing the team
- Taking ownership of daily operations and results

Compensation & Schedule
- $48,000 - $60,000
- $23/hour base
- Performance-based bonuses (Weekly & quarterly)
- Tips
- 30 to 40 + hours per week
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute all daily store operations
- Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to performance standards
- Implement, improve, and enforce SOPs across all areas of the business
- Track and analyze daily sales, KPIs, and team performance
- Drive revenue growth through execution (upselling, bundles, promotions, staffing)
- Ensure full compliance with cannabis retail regulations and company policies
- Optimize scheduling, labor efficiency, and team productivity
- Manage inventory, merchandising, pricing, and stock flow
- Execute events, promotions, and in-store initiatives with clear ROI focus
- Maintain a clean, organized, high-standard retail environment
- Handle customer issues professionally while protecting the brand experience
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2+ years of leadership or management experience
- Strong understanding of operations, systems, and performance-driven environments
- Detail-oriented with strong execution and follow-through
- Ability to lead with structure, consistency, and accountability
- Experience working with KPIs, sales metrics, and team performance tracking
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Cannabis retail experience
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with POS systems, inventory platforms, or retail software
