Position Description
PIMCO is seeking an editorial & publishing leader to join our Content Marketing team. This senior leader will partner with the head of Content Marketing to shape the editorial strategy for market commentary, macro insights, investment perspectives, and strategic thematic content; build a high-performing newsroom-style publishing team; and lead an end-to-end content planning and publishing process that reinforces PIMCO’s position as a global leader in active fixed income with deep expertise across public and private markets. The individual will also establish and drive a dedicated thought leadership program that increases client awareness of PIMCO’s private markets capabilities.
The Editorial Lead will partner closely with portfolio managers, investment and product strategists, client business leaders, and marketing and communications colleagues. The successful candidate will influence stakeholders across the firm to align editorial priorities, translate business strategy and investment insights into a structured thought leadership agenda, and lead an AI-enabled publishing operation that streamlines how ideas are sourced, prioritized, developed, reviewed, and distributed across channels. They will leverage AI and emerging technologies to accelerate editorial and production processes that support faster, more consistent, and superior publishing.
