About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with caregivers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to caregivers on strategies to foster independence.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Maintain a safe and engaging therapy environment for all clients.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in New York.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Knowledge of current therapeutic techniques and best practices in geriatric care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning.
