LPN - (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Substance Abuse

Our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) play a critical role in providing comprehensive care, particularly in specialized areas such as substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation.
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) specializing in substance abuse to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will provide vital support to patients recovering from substance use disorders, assisting them through their treatment and rehabilitation journeys. Hourly Rate: $40/hr.
OT & Holiday Rate: $60
Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday
Pay Schedule: Weekly, Every Thursday via Direct Deposit
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs for patients in substance abuse programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients, fostering their recovery and ongoing support.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options, coping strategies, and resources for continuing care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and communicate any changes in patient status to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills specific to substance abuse care.

Requirements
- Completed practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Previous experience in substance abuse or mental health nursing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of addiction treatment principles and compassionate patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
