Job Title: RN – Critical Care (Night)

Location: Syracuse, NY

Type: Contract | 14 Weeks

Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week | 3 Days/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Critical Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Adult ICU/Critical Care units
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor critically ill patients and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment and devices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EPIC EMR
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and hospital compliance standards
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery processes
• Support rapid response and emergency situations in acute care settings

Requirements

• Current New York State RN License
• Active BLS Certification
• Minimum 1.5–2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU experience within the last 2 years
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Strong nursing assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment health screening, drug screening, and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center experience
• Previous EPIC EMR experience
• Travel nursing experience in large acute care hospitals
