Join our highly reputable client, Ethan Allen, located in Poughkeepsie, NY, in their search for skilled individuals to fill multiple manufacturing positions. If you are practiced in machine operation, production mixing, or production stacking, we have exciting temp-to-hire opportunities available. Our client produces high-quality products sold worldwide, and they are willing to provide training on their unique machines. These positions offer competitive pay rates, benefits after an introductory period, and the potential for long-term employment.

Job location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Type of employment: Temp-to-permanent positions

Shift Hours: All positions offer 1st shift (6AM - 2PM) or 2nd shift (1PM - 9PM) options.

Pay: $17 per hour

Available Positions:

Machine Operator:

»Operate machinery to manufacture products according to specifications.

»Stand for long periods, lift 75-100 pounds regularly, and have good basic math expertise.

»Computer literacy is required.

»Training will be provided for candidates with prior machine operation practice.



Production Mixer:

»Perform continuous heavy lifting and operate kettles for mixing ingredients.

»Work diligently to ensure accurate ingredient proportions and high-quality mixtures.

»Meet production goals and follow safety guidelines.



Production Stacker:

»Stack bags of finished products efficiently and at a rate of 5-6 bags per minute.

»Lift and stack 50-pound bags while maintaining quality and accuracy.

»Assist with dumping fruit into vats, cleaning, and other assigned tasks.

»Must consistently bend, lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and take direction well.



Job Qualifications required

» significant practice in machine operation, production mixing, or production stacking preferred.
