The Vice President – Asset Based Finance Origination assists Senior Transactors in originating, structuring, and executing debt solutions for our Commercial Banking Clients. Based in New York / Los Angeles, the ideal candidate will:

• Support new asset-based deal opportunities with an analysis of capital structure, borrowing base, credit profile, market comparables, and industry research
• Develop targeted prospecting lists; join Senior Transactors in client and prospect meetings to develop and sustain enduring relationships
• Assist in the creation of pitch materials; screen opportunities; propose appropriate structures; work alongside Underwriting to green light transactions; draft and negotiate term sheets with clients (interfacing with legal counsel); work with underwriting partners to help shepherd internal approvals; negotiate legal documentation and manage an efficient closing process
• Interface with banker coverage and other partners to coordinate execution of transactions and to effectively meet deal timelines
• Develop strong partnerships with internal constituents within the Independent Risk, Syndication, and Coverage teams; maintain a high level of credibility with key stake holders
• Exhibit business and credit judgment as well as to provide balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partners
• Maintain a strong attention to detail and complete work in assigned timeframes.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Asset Based Finance
• Bachelor’s degree
• FINRA Licensing - SIE, Series 63 & 79 (current or ability to obtain)

Skills:

• Strong financial, analytic, and credit skills
• Experience in working with complex capital structures
• Team player, able to facilitate strong partnerships
• Excellent written and presentation skills

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
