GALLO is Hiring! Seeking Sanitation Technician for Production Enviornment!

Job Overview:

• 3rd Shift - Monday - Thursday 9p - 530a, Friday 4p - 1230a
• Sanitation Technician participates in sanitation activities as assigned, as well as the care all equipment and facilities. Adheres to all safety procedures, support quality and GMP standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, supports facility sanitation activities to include master sanitation schedule cleaning duties (exterior equipment cleaning, flooring sanitation, drain cleaning).
• Performs sanitation tasks to support bottling line and facility cleanliness.
• Basic knowledge of daily sanitation practices
• Safely and efficiently sanitizes equipment and meets established goals in a cost and quality effective manner.
• Maintains the mindset that there is always room for improvement, there is always a way to do it better.
• Ability to keep work area clean, organized and Food Safety compliant. Responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work area.
• Responsible for routine reporting and quality checks.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate; or 1 year of experience in sanitation in food production or manufacturing.

• Required to wear a respirator when necessary.

• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

• Required to work at heights and in small areas.

• Required to comply with company GMP policies.

• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.

• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this .

Compensation :

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $19.41 - $26.17 / hour
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
