Prep Cook
People’s NYC is a bar and lounge in the West Village serving high end cocktails and late night classics with a twist. We are looking for a prep cook who wants to be part of a team serving quality food with excellence and precision.
1 year of experience preferred
Nights and weekends required
General Responsibilities:
-Prepare sauces, condiments, and other menu elements for service
-Process deliveries and ensure food is stored appropriately-Maintain high food quality standards consistently
-Organize and clean workspaces
-Ensure that the kitchen is stocked and ready for service
We are looking for someone who:
-Arrives on time and ready to work
-Has a basic understanding of culinary technique and knife skills
-Is willing to learn and expand their scope of experience
-Has a positive, helpful, and hardworking attitude
