About the role

As a CBRE Facilities Sr. Manager, you are the strategic powerhouse behind the seamless operation of an entire campus or building portfolio. This high-impact role puts you in command of critical building operations and maintenance functions, leading your teams to ensure peak efficiency and safety. You'll operate at the heart of strategic asset management, providing essential direction to property managers and making key decisions that directly influence repairs, investment plans, and the enduring success of every high-value property under your leadership.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.

  • Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.

  • Prepare and manage large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

  • Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.

  • Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing procedures. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.

  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.

  • Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.

  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets.

  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Facilities Manager position is $141,950 annually and the maximum salary is $ 165,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
