LOCATION: Woestina Elementary School in Rotterdam Junction, NY
PAY: $16.00 per hour
SCHEDULE : Follows the school calendar
Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am
Afternoon Program: 1:45 - 5:00 pm
Opportunities available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Pre-K Childcare Assistant for our After School Program at our Woestina Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year.

Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. What Success Looks Like
- Program Quality: Kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day; the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model and families consistently choose to re-enroll
- Staffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids
- Compliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day
- Inventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
- Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.
