Maintenance Mechanic
Join a growing manufacturing operation as a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic, where your expertise will directly impact production performance and equipment reliability. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with high-speed converting and automated systems in a fast-paced environment, supporting critical overnight operations. salary: $58,240 - $68,640 per yearshift: Third
work hours: 11 PM - 7 AM
education: High School Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on high-speed production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment to operation quickly
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
- Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and drive systems
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment to identify faults (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred)
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals
- Perform precision alignments, calibrations, and adjustments on converting lines
- Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment
- Maintain CMMS records for work orders and preventive maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
