Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Pay Rate: $52 – $58/hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute or post-acute care settings and be confident managing pre- and post-surgical patients while adhering to established nursing standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Provide direct bedside care for pre-operative and post-operative patients
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for adverse reactions
• Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry data; escalate concerns as needed
• Operate and manage specialized medical equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EMR systems
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care coordination and discharge planning
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and healthcare regulations

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified)
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification (required for select locations)
