Truck Driver (CDL A)
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - CDL-A with appropriate driving record
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to write/fill-in routine deliver/pick-up reports and maintain the necessary state truck logs. Must also possess the ability to speak and write effectively simple sentences in the normal word order.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
