What You’ll Do

• Lead the Classroom: Create and maintain a structured, engaging, and welcoming learning environment

• Implement Curriculum: Plan and execute our L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, tailoring lessons to meet the developmental needs of each child

• Mentor & Support Staff: Guide Assistant Teachers, offering coaching and support to ensure classroom success

• Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets all licensing standards

• Engage with Families: Build strong relationships with parents through consistent communication about their child’s progress

• Drive Center Success: Collaborate with leadership and team members to support enrollment, retention, and overall center goals

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred)

• At least 18 years old

• Previous experience in a childcare setting (leadership experience strongly preferred)

• Strong understanding of child development and classroom management

• Ability to meet all state licensing and health requirements

Caregiving & Leadership Skills

• Confident decision-making to ensure a safe and nurturing environment

• Ability to manage daily classroom routines and meet children’s individual needs

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to inspire, guide, and support a team

• Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role. You should be comfortable with:

• Standing and moving throughout the day

• Lifting up to 40 pounds

• Bending, reaching, and actively engaging with children

• Supervising children by sight and sound at all times

• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
