Join a world class radiology team at MSK Commack! As an MRI Technologist, you will support the Radiology team at our Commack, NY outpatient location. In this per diem role, you will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures with precision and compassion, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and diagnostic quality. Role Overview

• Perform a variety of Magnetic Resonance (M.R.) imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity within an outpatient center.
• Under the administrative direction of the Manager and under the clinical guidance of the Radiologist, perform a variety of MRI procedures while applying his/her technical ability independently.
• Perform all examinations accurately, completely and efficiently, checking technical quality, and submits completed exams for physician to review.
• Manage all aspects of the exam procedures to maximize exam efficiency while meeting patient needs.
• Prepare accurate records and enters required data into information management system.
• Maintain a neat, clean, safe environment, and performs quality control tests as assigned.
• Treat those individuals (e.g., patient/family, client, center employee) who depend on the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the work as unique individuals in a respectful, courteous manner, and focuses on understanding and meeting their needs.
• Work collaboratively with others to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.

Key Qualifications

• Requires degree from a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school or a 1 yr MRI technologist program.
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration (MRI) (R), and MRI certification (MR).

Additional Information

• Location: MSK Commack- 650 Commack Road, Commack, NY
• Schedule: Per Diem as needed, Flexed shifts between 8am – 6pm, Saturdays (no less than 2 per month), Friday availability a plus.
• Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology

Per Diem rate - $75 hour

Pay Range: $18.00 - $170.00 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
