Assistant Media Manager — Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar
Location: Chelsea, NYC (111 W 17th St) — on-site Type: Part-time, ~20 hours/week | Pay: $25/hour to start
About us
Shiraz Kitchen is a Persian-Mediterranean restaurant built on the unwritten Tehran recipes of our chef-owner's mother, Iran. Two locations — Chelsea and White Plains, where the room holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand and a New York Times "Very Good." One philosophy: Define Hospitality.
The role
Hands-on content, not strategy. You'll shoot, edit, post, and keep the brand consistent across both restaurants' channels. Comfortable working on the floor during service.
What you'll do
- Capture daily content — food, room, prep, people — on phone and camera, in low light, fast
- Edit and schedule across Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Profile for both locations
- Hold the content calendar; keep both restaurants posting on rhythm
- Support menu launches, events, and seasonal pushes
- Keep voice and visuals tight: navy, burgundy, cream, gold — restraint over noise
What you bring
- 1–3 years in social/content, ideally hospitality or food
- A real eye — your feed or portfolio should show it
- Strong phone and camera skills; confident editing photo and short-form video
- Organized, fast, reliable with a calendar
- Genuine interest in food, wine, and restaurants
