Position Overview

Safeguard Security Group is seeking experienced Part-Time Armed Security Guards for ongoing, steady daytime assignments. This role is ideal for licensed professionals seeking consistent hours, a structured schedule, and professional management.

Schedule (Consistent Day Shift)

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Weekends: Off

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible armed security presence to deter criminal or unauthorized activity
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas to ensure controlled access
• Conduct routine patrols and remain outside/visible as required by post orders
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
• Enforce site rules, procedures, and company policies
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
• Protect people, property, and assets with vigilance and composure

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License (required)
• Active firearm permit with current range qualification
• Prior armed security or law enforcement experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and situational awareness
• Ability to remain alert and on post for extended periods
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability required
• Must be available for the listed schedule

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $28.00 – $35.00 (based on experience and assignment)
• Consistent part-time hours
• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available
