Position Title: Ultrasound Sonographer

Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel

Shift: Days (12x3)

Duration: 5-Week Assignment

Pay Rate: $60 to $68/hr

Weekly Pay: $2,250 to $2,550/week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Sonographer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cooperstown, NY .

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations with accuracy and independence

• Complete all required vascular studies, including venous duplex, arterial duplex, carotid studies, bypass graft studies, mesenteric artery studies, renal artery studies, vein mapping, fistula flow studies, and venous reflux studies

• Ensure imaging meets IAC-accredited standards for quality and accuracy

• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for weekday evenings and weekends

• Provide ultrasound services at hospital, outpatient, and outreach locations as needed

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support patient care and diagnostic accuracy

• Maintain complete and accurate exam documentation and measurements

• Support department quality assurance and continuing competency requirements

Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification required

• RVT certification preferred

• Proven proficiency in all vascular ultrasound modalities listed

• Experience in an IAC-accredited vascular lab preferred

• General ultrasound experience required; IR experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative clinical setting

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and travel between Bassett locations

• Strong communication, patient care, and documentation skills
