In-Person Therapist Position

Licensed or Pre-Licensed Therapist (Hybrid: In-Person + Virtual)

Gluck Psychology Collective is a warm, relational, human-first therapy practice in the heart of NYC serving Gen Z and Millennial clients navigating life transitions, relationships, anxiety, identity, and personal growth.

We are seeking a licensed or pre-licensed clinician who is passionate about meaningful clinical work, values strong therapeutic relationships, and enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive group practice environment.

This role includes a consistent weekly schedule of in-person and virtual sessions designed to support continuity of care and steady caseload growth.

Schedule Requirements (Required)

In-person at our Flatiron office

• Mondays: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Wednesdays: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Virtual evening sessions

• Tuesdays: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Thursdays: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

About the Role

You will provide individual psychotherapy to adult clients, primarily Gen Z and Millennial New Yorkers, presenting with concerns such as:

• Anxiety and burnout
• Dating and relationship patterns
• Life transitions and identity development
• Self-esteem and self-worth
• Family dynamics
• Emotional regulation and insight-oriented growth

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality individual therapy (in person and virtual)
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in case consultation and supervision as appropriate
• Collaborate within a supportive team environment
• Uphold ethical and professional standards of care
• Build and maintain a consistent caseload

Qualifications

Required

• Licensed in NY or working toward licensure (Ph.D. or Psy.D., LMSW, LMHC-LP, MFT-LP, or equivalent)
• Ability to work in person at our Flatiron office during required hours
• Availability for evening virtual sessions as listed
• Strong clinical judgment and relational skills
• Comfortable working with young adult populations
• Commitment to warm, engaged, human-centered therapy

Preferred

• Experience with psychodynamic, relational, attachment-based, EMDR, or trauma-informed approaches
• Prior outpatient or private practice experience
• Interest in long-term clinical growth within a group practice

Compensation Structure

This is a fee-for-service role with a tiered compensation structure based on active weekly caseload.

Compensation increases across the following caseload tiers:

• 1–10 clients per week
• 11–20 clients per week
• 21–25 clients per week
• 25+ clients per week

Specific pay ranges and structure will be discussed in the final stage of the interview process.

Pay: $50.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
