Senior associate audit generalist

Senior Associate, External Audit Generalist, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, New York, NY. Provide clients business advice on technical accounting and financial reporting standards to proactively identify and articulate emerging technical issues. Employ auditing standards and firm audit methodology, reinforce compliance requirements, and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Implement project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk. Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for clients.40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary Range: $146,058 - $146,058/yr.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 1 year of related work experience.Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:- Applying the audit approach, including the application of applicable auditing standards or firm audit methodology;- Applying technical accounting and financial reporting standards;- Assessing engagement risks, driving conclusions, preparing and delivering projects; and- Working with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) or the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.80% telecommuting permitted.
