Associate Producer
• Writing copy for newscasts
• Editing video for online posts.
• Posting stories online and to social media
• Operating teleprompter during newscasts
• Assisting Producers with finding stories
• Assisting with other editorial and general newsroom duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience:
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to write quality broadcast news copy under tight deadlines
• You must have strong writing and news judgment skills
• A 4-year degree in Journalism or Mass Communications
• Available to work five weekday mornings, as early as 4:30 a.m., including some holidays
• Helping in-studio guests of morning show to get on and off air, hosting and answer questions. The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.00 to $17.60 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This is a Part-time position. Full-time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
